cottage is under 100 kms from either world famous Cradle Mountain or popular Stanley,
a convenient midway point, and only 20kms from either the scenic Hellyer Gorge
or the main town of Wynyard with its airport offering direct flights to Melbourne
and return several time daily with REX
(Regional Express). Boat Harbour itself is a small town at the centre of a
thriving dairy and agricultural area. The cottages are 5 kms from Wynyard which
has a modern shopping centre with a national supermarket chain trading 7days a
week,and the towns has three Hotels each with a modern restaurant. A
number of Tasmania's top tourist destinations are within easy driving distances

you may do whilst you stay with us:
- Visit
our 'Wonders of Wynyard'
Visitor Information Centre and Vintage Automobile Museum .
- Take
some pictures of our superb coastal area.
- Have
a picnic in Gutteridge Gardens.
- BBQ
on the Inglis River at the Bridge Reserve on Table Cape Road.
- Take
a short or long walk on the purpose built walking tracks that follow the Inglis
River.
- Charter
a plane and take off on a wilderness flight from our local airport.
- Learn
to scuba dive at the Wynyard Scuba Centre and go diving.
- Play
golf till you drop. Wynyard has two excellent Golf
Courses.
- Go
fishing, by boat, on foot along the river, off the rocks or on a deserted beach.
- Spend
an evening with the Fairy's (Penguins,that is). A guided tour may be booked.
- Enjoy
a Sunday market alongside the East Wynyard Beach front.
- Visit
the Tulip Farm ( October
only).
- Take
part in the Tulip Festival
